Kann mir jemand sagen, wo ich den Treiber für den alten Drucker HP 540 bekomme?
Auf der HP-Homepage habe ich ihn nicht gefunden!

Hi!
Welches Betriebssystem verwendest Du? Wenn mich meine kurzsichtigen Augen nicht täuschen, bietet z. B. Win 95 einen Treiber dafür an....

auf der Win95 CD sollte gehen. Der angebotene 540 ist der schwarz-weiss Drucker. Aber die tieferen Treiber funktionieren meist auch.

nach ein bissel rumklicken auf buba seite, findet man folgendes
Installing Windows 98 printer drivers that are integrated into the operating system
NO DRIVER NEEDED: The most current driver is already integrated into Windows 98. Follow the appropriate instructions below to install the correct printer driver.
Local Installation for drivers pre-installed in Windows 98
If the printer is hooked up directly (parallel) to your computer, follow these instructions for standard installation of the appropriate driver using the Add Printer Wizard:
1.Click Start, Settings, and Printers.
2.Double-click Add Printer.
3.Click Next.
4.Select Local Printer.
5.Click Next.
6.In the Manufacturer List, choose HP.
7.In the printer list, choose the model of the printer.
8.Click Next.
9.Choose the port (usually LPT1).
10.Click Next.
11.Select Yes if this printer is to be the default printer or No if this printer is to handle only selected print jobs
12.Click Next to continue.
13.Click Finish to complete the installation.
NOTE: If prompted for a disc, use the Windows CD or the Recovery CD that shipped with you computer. If you do not have the CD contact the computer manufacturer to obtain a copy.
14.Insert the appropriate disk or CD and follow the instructions on the screen if asked for a Windows disk. Once the installation is finished, the printer will be listed in the Printers window.
15.Close the Printers window and try printing.
