Are you a nerd?

for my 13th birthday (two years ago!!) i got a book called "wie wird man bill gates - aufzucht und lebensweise des gemeinen nerds" it´s a kind of funny book so after i had read it i kind of asked myself if i was a nerd.
so i came to the decision i´m something inbetween a nerd and a normal humanbeeing because on one side i´m far more intelligent then most my classmates, i´m working a lot with computers,i´m actually interrested in physic´s, math´s, chemisty...

but on the other side i dont wear glasses:), till now i never wrote a single computer programm and i have at least some friends.

Do you think you´re a nerd?

Hallo hippie,

ich wollte noch etwas zu deinem Post sagen: Ich weiß nicht, ob du das ernst gemeint hast, aber deine Aussage "I'm far more intellligent than my classmates" (Zitat Hippie) finde ich nicht gut. Wenn diese Aussage nur Spass war, dann ist das ja ok, aber denke nie von dir selbst, du bist intelligenter als irgendeine andere Person, diese Aussage ist arrogant und nicht bewiesen. Intelligenz ist relativ, und nur weil du vieleicht bessere schulische Leistungen erbringst, heißt das nicht, dass du klüger als andere bist. Es gibt ja schließlich verschiedene Arten von Intelligenz !

Ich finde es nicht schlimm, zu behaupten man sei Intelligenter als ein anderer, man sollte sich darauf nur nichts einbilden. Man kann ja nichts dafür ob man intelligent oder nicht intelligent zur Welt kommt, und man kann es auch nicht beeinflussen. Ich habe mehr Respekt vor Leuten die etwas erreichen wollen, sich viel Mühe geben, als solche, die nichts tuen, weil ihr IQ sie sowieso über Wasser hält.
Denn man kann nur an seiner eigenen Ausbeute was ändern, nicht aber an der Grundvorraussetzung.

I at myself think that I'm really not a nerd.
Nerds love to learn, I hate learning.
Nerds hate sports, I'm interested about.
Nerds don't want to do cool things, cool is relativ.
Nerds wear glasses, ok so do I but I hate them at all.

I understand your faster methode to wright, but spelling is as much important.

If you want somthing done right: Do it yourself!
